Askari -- import in de praktijk

When sixteen year old orphan, Emma Crawshay , is sent to live with her Aunt Paula, on a wild African game farm she quickly finds her favourite animal, a cheeky young elephant named 'Ollie'. The initial antagonism between Emma and her Aunt and Uncle Joss is replaced with fondness as their mutual love of elephant brings them together. Through 'Ollie' Emma comes to cherish her new environment. However, her idyllic new way of life is soon shattered when Ollie is kidnapped by an evil hunter, Ripshaw, and his mysterious tracker, Ndlovu. And wihle Joss tries to rescue Ollie, his sinister boss, Patrick Khumalo, sets up a secret cull to wipe out hunderds of elephants, in order to make himself rich through ilegal ivory trading. Set against the wild and beautiful scenery of the African bush, Joss, Emma and Paula must battle there two dangerous ivroy poachers, rescue Ollie and stop the cull in a finale as breathtakins and unforgiving as the African landscape itself...
