When she was small, she made up stories with her foster grandmother about the old statues inside the house. Her love for telling stories continued when Mia learned to write them down and with the encouragement of a few teachers. After she went through a difficult period, she started to write poems. This helped her cope with her closed and insecure nature. She finds a way to share her thoughts and emotions with her poetry and stories.
