Robert Jon & The Wreck - Ride Into The Light (CD)

'Ride Into The Light' verschijnt via het nagelnieuwe label Journeyman Records van top-gitarist Joe Bonamassa. Ze werden dus omringd door een All Stars-ensemble en dat betaalt zich ook meer dan uit; 'the resulting album finds the band reaching a new level of musicianship and songwriting prowess, delivering a fresh take on southern rock and roll, with catchy melodic Americana tunes and bluesy riff-driven sing-along roots rock songs, while evoking classic '70s bands. It's packed with blistering blues-rock and sun-soaked Americana ballads, and it is as high-octane as it is soul-stirring, proving that good-old feelgood rock and roll - with soaring guitar leads, boogying grooves and rich vocal harmonies - is still thriving in 2023'.
