Last Tango in Paris - blu-ray - Import

Opgelet, import zonder NL ondertiteling. When Last Tango in Paris was first released, famed critic Pauline Kael said it, “has altered the face of an art form.” But others called it simply pornographic. It's remained famously divisive ever since – in fact, now more so than ever. Marlon Brando (Apocalypse Now) stars, in what might be the greatest performance of his seismic career. He's Paul, an American in Paris whose wife has just killed herself. Lost in grief, and tortured by guilt he embarks on a strange relationship with Jeanne (Maria Schneider, The Passenger), a young woman soon to be married: it will be exclusively physical, he says, and they'll share no details about each other, not even names. But things can never be that simple. Praised and condemned, loved and reviled, 88 Films are proud to present this 70’s masterpiece from a 4K re-master. Watch it and make up your own mind.
